Quick Answers
We ship to all 48 contiguous states via UPS from our bakery right here in York, Pennsylvania.
Because our pretzels are bakery-fresh + use minimal preservatives, they have a shorter shelf life.
This is why we cannot ship to P.O. boxes, military bases (APO/FPO), PMBs, or international addresses. If we can’t guarantee it arrives fresh, we won't send it.
We ship Monday through Thursday, and it typically takes 3-5 business days for orders to reach the front of our queue.
Once the carrier has scanned your package, your tracking will update and delivery usually takes 1 to 3 days.
Please keep in mind that this timeline is subject to change due to inclement weather, federal holidays, high order volumes, or carrier delays outside of our control.
Since our pretzels are perishable, we only ship west of the Mississippi River + Southern Florida on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure they don't sit in a hub over the weekend.
Here at The Pretzel Company, we take pride in only sending you the freshest hand-made pretzels.
Everything we bake in a day will leave the doors that same day. We do not have freezers or shelves full of days-old pretzels sitting around waiting to go in a box.
Other "fast pretzel" companies often rely on high-speed mixers, machine twisters/extruders, large batches, and shortcuts.
Pretzels that are made in small batches and hand-twisted have a more complex gluten structure that gives you a more fluffy pretzel and a satisfying chew. Here, we do things the right way, which often takes more time and becomes a difference you can taste.
Yes. We use minimal preservatives (lye) and our pretzels are a fresh bakery product. However, they do not contain sensitive animal products like meat or dairy, which means they are perfectly safe to travel at room temperature.
The Freshness Window
A one or two day shipping delay is usually no problem. However, because these are very fresh products, they will eventually spoil if left out too long.
Storage
Unbox them immediately. Eat what you want when they arrive and get the rest into the freezer within 24 hours. This locks in the quality for up to 90 days.
1. Thaw & Preheat
If frozen, thaw pretzels on the counter for ~30 minutes. Preheat toaster oven, convection oven, or air fryer to 350°F.
2. Place on Baking Sheet
Arrange pretzels on a non-stick baking sheet or oven tray.
3. Brush
Lightly brush with butter or water until the surface glistens.
4. Salt
Sprinkle desired amount of pretzel salt on pretzels before baking.
(if using cinnamon sugar, apply after baking.)
5. Bake
Bake pretzels for 5–7 minutes until hot to the touch and with a light crisp.
6. Finish & Enjoy
For cinnamon sugar: brush with butter, then toss and coat while warm.
Let cool briefly, then pair with your favorite The Pretzel Co. dip.
