Storage To stop the clock, unbox them immediately. Eat what you want when they arrive and get the rest into the freezer within 24 hours. This locks in the quality for up to 90 days.
You will get a tracking link as soon as your shipping label is printed. We often print labels a few days early for sorting. If the link shows no movement, your order is simply staged and waiting for its turn in the oven.
We bake and ship on the same day. Your tracking will update once the carrier scans your box that evening. If there is no movement for 3 business days after your label is created, email csteam@thepretzelcompany.com so we can investigate the status with the carrier.
1. Thaw & Preheat If frozen, thaw pretzels on the counter for ~30 minutes. Preheat toaster oven, convection oven, or air fryer to 350°F. 2. Place on Baking Sheet Arrange pretzels on a non-stick baking sheet or oven tray.
3. Brush Lightly brush with butter or water until the surface glistens.
4. Salt Sprinkle desired amount of pretzel salt on pretzels before baking. (if using cinnamon sugar, apply after baking.) 5. Bake Bake pretzels for 5–7 minutes until hot to the touch and with a light crisp.
6. Finish & Enjoy For cinnamon sugar: brush with butter, then toss and coat while warm. Let cool briefly, then pair with your favorite The Pretzel Co. dip.

Your pretzels arrive individually wrapped in freezer-safe bags with the salt on the side. It is perfectly normal for the box to arrive at room temperature.
These are plant-based bread products made with simple ingredients. Because they do not contain sensitive animal products, they are safe to travel at ambient temperatures. Our dips are also shelf stable until opened.

No need to worry about thawing your pretzels — they're ready to heat straight from the freezer! You'll want to heat them a bit longer until they're piping hot inside.
If you prefer to defrost them first, you can let them sit on the counter until your oven preheats or for up to an hour, but please don’t leave them out overnight. For a quick option, pop them in the microwave on a low power setting for under a minute to gently thaw.
Our facility is nut-free. We do not process peanuts or tree nuts in our bakery.
Our traditional soft pretzels are made with simple ingredients: flour, water, yeast, salt, brown sugar, and non-GMO canola oil. However, our facility does handle the following:

Once the package leaves our bakery, it is in the hands of the carrier. They do not notify us of individual delays, so the best first step is to contact FedEx or UPS directly with your tracking number.
How to read "Delivery Exceptions" If you receive a "Delivery Exception" or "Cancelled" notification, check the tracking timeline. There are usually two reasons for this:
A Label Update: If the timeline only shows "Order Confirmed" and "Shipment Cancelled," it simply means we voided a label to reprint it. Your order is not cancelled and is still moving forward.
A Real Delay: If the package was already moving and then shows an exception, it is a genuine carrier issue like a wrong address or a missed delivery attempt.

FedEx and UPS may generate "estimated" delivery dates prior to receiving to your shipment. Please ignore those dates.
