at room temperature, individually wrapped, with the salt on the side. all ingredients are 100% safe to ship ambient. arriving warm is normal — it does not mean they are ruined. freeze them right away if you are not eating them soon. the salt is separate on purpose — salting in the bag draws out moisture and would make them soggy.
